Keep thinking about when Latvia Lithuania and Estonia disconnected from the Russian electrical grid last month and got some euro media art grad to make them an interactive fluorescent kraftwerk visualisation of the electricity connecting to the EU

Berlin airport just lost a crate of like 20 ppls bags that was only found because one guy had an AirTag and they had to take a picture of the location to find them
Is it now a thing to do yoga at the airport? Different people different poses—pigeon at the baggage claim, downward dog at the gate. Never before have I seen this.
“the ball” ”jesus christ” “bros before hos”
This went well
I’m such a sucker for a New Yorker investigation like was the best seller romantasy novel a copyright infringement, did the student falsify their trauma for Ivy League admissions, how are the white liberal parents making racist allegations against their kids PoC guidance councillors
"Sorry, I could barely get through Kissick’s orgy of grievances. I lived through the years he elegizes, saw some great art and even more middling art. Anyone reading his piece with a gimlet eye will notice that it was speculation, not ‘politics,’ that sucked the air out of the room. I do agree with him on one point: the art world is boring right now. But you’re not going to save it by being boring yourself. And you’re definitely not going to get art that ‘tears open [your] consciousness’ through nostalgia for Hans Ulrich Obrist. Go outside, look around. Stop being sad because markets and institutions aren’t pandering to you. Go where the energy is. Go make some real friends. Break a magazine. Go to a protest. Free Palestine. David Velasco New York City”
Love this letter from David Velasco (the former Artforum editor fired for publishing an open letter against the carnage in Gaza) responding to that Harper’s piece lamenting the contamination of contemporary art by politics.
Omg yesss what should I read next not too dissimilar?
I honestly loved The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis—a horny and thrilling POV of 1980s Hollywood told through a rich, closeted, and neurotic high school senior
I love it when I’m texting with someone who throws out an acronym I haven’t seen before that I have to decipher on urban dictionary—like please teach me the customs habits and traditions of your special corner of the Brain Rot

The totalizing negation of meaning-structures performs a reactionary subsumption into the very commodified spectacle it purports to resist!!
This was rage bait for @bassemsaad.bsky.social and @sebastjanbr.bsky.social
Good news for theory gays (@aldokem.bsky.social)
I guess this is what social media is supposed to be… sadly I have a kink for discovery algorithms
Realizing Bluesky has always felt so boring because the algorithms aren’t giving me dopamine hits. It feels like I’m a drug addict trying to replace my supply with vitamins surprised it doesn’t feel the same. Bluesky is literally social media rehab.
Does anyone know how this actually works? No Evil Algorithm™️ driving our dopamine addictions (?) so we’ll like actually see posts from the people we follow (?) making it kind of like a pervy group chat where you can talk to your friends but maybe also someone you don’t know reposts it (?)
This is my impression of someone finding meaning in Inland Empire by David Lynch

It’s exciting to see so many friends ready to try micro blogging for the first time… but where were your likes on Twitter when I needed them years ago
who knew that in 2025 neurodivergent oligarchs would force us into a mass exodus to a soulless purgatory with a late-90s-Mariah-coded logo
