Honestly I reached my "life long" artist goal back on Twitter when I was still on it and that's enough of an achievement for me. I'll just keep drawing my ocs and stuff because I love them oh so much!

Tbh, I've always kinda hated social media since I was a teen so I'd just post my art online and not interact any further with it or anyone else until the next time I posted something 😅

I don't think I ever actively was part of a group or fanbase, even nowadays I don't really consider myself an active part of a certain fanbase.

I'm pretty sure Twitter was a big culprit of it for me as well at some point, doing stuff like comparing yourself to others while you are your own worst critic at that.

Ngl, 2020 was the year I finally started to appreciate my own art a bit more and shifted gears and started to actively improve my skills because there was a time when I felt really misserable about my skill level and it was frustrating. But I'm really happy where it got me eventually.
