His careless mishandling of sensitive information has not only compromised national security but also put the lives of U.S. service members and our allies at tremendous risk.

You can hear Jose scream in excruciating pain as an ICE vehicle runs over his foot while he's being detained.

His family says Jose is a good man, with no criminal record, who works in roofing.

He needs to be released from detention to receive appropriate medical care.

The 14th Amendment doesn’t mince words — birthright citizenship is a constitutionally protected right.

We’re fighting at the Supreme Court against President Trump’s attempt to end birthright citizenship.

Death by Deregulation: MSHA to Roll Back Miners' Silica Protections - Confined Space Trump administration announces that it will reconsider -- and likely weaken -- the new silica standard issued in 2024

Death by Deregulation: Trump declares war on coal miners. #MSHA will "revisit" and likely weaken silica standard that would prevent severe black lung diseases plaguing young miners.

Hey, I want to offer some helpful tips for coping with the cold for ICE folks who might have come from warmer places.

1. Wear cotton socks! Cotton is nice and soft next to your skin and will absorb your sweat so your feet stay warm. Cotton everything but ESPECIALLY socks!

Perry: The pro-Hitler problem with the American right "We need to get back to the basics: Hitler was bad. The people who suggest otherwise are also bad," David M. Perry writes.

Hitler was bad.

An essay that, you know, I didn’t think I’d need to write.

Social Security wants about 15 million fewer visits in its field offices The new goal to cut the number of field office visits comes as the agency’s frontline locations have lost thousands of employees.

This article is 1000% correct. We can’t actually achieve any of these goals without more staff. Friendly reminder that the last time we had this few staff it was 1967. We served 480 claimants per staff then. Now we have to serve 1800 per staff. This is not sustainable or even achievable. Period.

NPR reported this morning that, based on their review of the #Epstein emails released yesterday, Trump’s name appeared more than 1,000 times in the document—

"I have met some very bad people, none as bad as #Trump. Not one decent cell in his body." - Jeffrey Epstein

Trump has time to call multiple GOP House members when it comes to covering up the Epstein files, but wouldn't meet with Democrats when our government was shut down.

Seems like he cares more about hiding the Epstein files than he does about protecting the American people.

According to Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, the man who was detained is from Guinea, illegally entered the United States in 2021 and was ordered removed by an immigration judge in 2024.

She added, in part, "When our heroic law enforcement officers conduct operations, they clearly identify themselves as law enforcement while wearing masks to protect themselves from being targeted by highly sophisticated gangs like Tren de Aragua and MS-13, criminal rings, murderers, and rapists."

The Shutdown of U.S.A.I.D. Has Already Killed Hundreds of Thousands The short documentary “Rovina’s Choice” tells the story of what goes when aid goes.

No other agency of the U.S. government has saved more lives per dollar than U.S.A.I.D.—it supplied medicine, food, and staffing for some of the most desperate and vulnerable. A new short documentary shows the impact of its dismantling. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/2a5Jm5

If they actually were gonna try to overturn it, that would really be the end of rule of law and I'm not sure we're there yet. Not that that day won't come if we don't do all we can to uphold rule of law and defend the Constitution.

Given the clearly anti-LGBTQ agenda of Project 2025 it was not unsurprising to think they might try to undermine the decision, especially since the current SCOTUS really seems super ready to throw the Constitution and case law out the window.

It can be hard to do math in your head, while standing up, on national television. Nerve-wracking, too. But even so, in twenty seconds on the air, I did a better job than the President in costing his latest idea and figuring out whether his new idea of a $2,000 rebate check will work. (It won't.)
