People get too caught up on Alex Jones being the living embodiment of a guy way too into conspiracy theories, that they forget that he's a legit evil person.

Also like a large part of this is like deeming someone to be delusional about something they're not delusional about in the slightest is deeply cruel, lol. It's not that people "can't accept reality" it's that the know on some level that the reality imposed upon them is BS.

To be honest, that's primarily why I see trans women as women because womanhood is a legitimate subjective experience to them. I'm not going to be cruel and try to make people fucking crazy by denying them that.

Happy 77th Birthday to the underrated Veronica Cartwright, unsung Emmy-nominated actress, famous for THE CHILDREN'S HOUR, THE BIRDS, INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, ALIEN, THE RIGHT STUFF, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK, SCARY MOVIE 2, KINSEY, THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN, THE X-FILES, and many more.

Tbh, I think the massive disconnect I feel with how I perceive trans issues and TERF shit is that I talk to trans people and empathize with subjective experiences, while the latter is like objectification, lowcow mentalities and gross assumptions of what's "right" for someone.

I think with gore images of Gazan genocide it's because you're made to be in tune with the human elements behind it and there's this surrounding, horrible political context behind those images. Context makes me feel much more sensitive to them.

Tbh, I think like seeing images of gore as a teenager did desensitise me a bit but then later I discovered in therapy that some of them did really screw with me. As an adult, images of Gazan genocide genuinely kind of haunt me. Like it does make you feel shock and disgust.

I never entirely got the idea that image of gore will "desensitise" people because it really is entirely how someone responds to it. If you're disconnected from it that might happen, but sometimes it can really make you feel some horrible emotions.

Tbh, like there really is something wrong about these people because like the way they discuss trans people reminds me of Rosemary's Baby where like they can never have agency and things are decided for them and that's "agency" etc. It's quite creepy.

It's weird when you're reading a piece of writing where it's like trying to sum up some sort of "mood" or something, but it's very clearly reflective of someone who is an utter narcissist.

It's one of my favourite films in the cinema with surround sound and pristine image. It was transcendent. The Dark Knight was also just great with a massive sound system and Love Lies Bleeding was great because of how openly LGBT+ the audience for it was, lol.

Akira (1988) in the cinema is like a top 3 cinema experience for me. That and The Dark Knight (2008) and Love Lies Bleeding (2024) when they premiered are the best I've ever had.

It's funny the amount of celebrities that appeared on Brass Eye that complained about them "mocking serious issues" when it's very clear that the show is mocking people who are self-serious yet wrong about issues, lol.

One such is "A man who is not trans, but feels the need to cross-dress, is occasionally at high risk of a transphobic hate crime." and that's just a sentence that's just tautologically true. That's queer expression and some parts of society violently loathe that.

I'm reading this TERF book and it's kind of staggering how every other sentence in it is someone pointing out some sort of "big irony" that really isn't ironic at all if you think about it for more than two seconds, lol.

Girls love two things from a guy, in unison, which are confidence and being left alone when they don't express interest in you or just want to be left alone.

It's weird when a site bugs out and it feels isomorphic to when your account gets restricted, lol.

I really should get some sleep but every time I click that notification bell, it's just another reply clowning on this person, lmao.

I'm like a witch that curses people to say the most spectacularly stupid responses imaginable.

It's all vibes based really.

Entirely a narcissist's mentality where you can never reciprocate on-point criticism, because it's a "hater" trying to bring you down, and you continue with your awful behaviour.

Something I really don't like about people like her trying to be "nice" is when they think notions of "nice" and "nasty" exist in a vacuum, so they'd praise a noxious bigot and it's "nice" but if I call her a noxious bigot (which she is!), that's "nasty".

Remember folks, saying nice things about J.K. Rowling is not actually being nice. Being fucking mean but on-point about her is actually nice because it's a kindness to protect people she wants to persecute.

There needs to be forthright condemnation of Stonewall's new chair'svsucking up to Rowling from her predecessors and a majority of the organisation's leading figures. This betrayal of trans people is utterly unforgivable cowardice.

1 day ago 335 89 1 2

It's worth considering those Stonewall chair's comments about Rowling as they seem to be intended - an olive branch to the GC community and a signal that Stonewall is one of the 'good ones' now.

There is literally no other reason to say what she said otherwise.

It's noxious how he's the Prime Minister but somehow has zero agency to do anything. It's been a constant with his premiership.

Oh this person absolutely talks like a Starmer simp, I can tell you that. You're probably wasting energy giving a thoughtful reply, considering thought eludes them.

Also he does pander to awful agendas, lol. Quite frequently. Pretty much your entire analysis of him is wildly off-point.
