All that pic does is make me want a sea lion version of Fat Bear Week. Give me Jason Stathchum, Seagourny Weaver, Lion-el Richie, I want to vote on terrible punny names and massive bodyweight gains

Kash Patel’s Erratic Behavior Could Cost Him His Job The FBI director has alarmed colleagues with episodes of excessive drinking and unexplained absences.

This is a big one. Stellar reporting from Sarah Fitzpatrick. To call it a must-read is an understatement: www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

I personally think not safe to remain in any personal relationship with anyone who is using LLMs to analyze your relationship, make conclusions about your motives, or determine how to treat you. I think this is beyond red flag—it should be an immediate dealbreaker.

I misread the headline as one movie and got very excited for a moment…

Lucy’s technique there is incredible. The way she breaks eye contact briefly as she says “you…” and then looks at Janelle when she repeats “travelled back” without a hint of questioning inflection, while simultaneously managing to suppress a brief smile, omg

Haha ok so he still has room for improvement (which is fine ‘cause he can feel good about the praise when he does better next time)

This kind of thing at Substack (including their Nazi problem and trans hate problem) are why my newsletter is at Ghost.org and always has been. Andrew Tate is a spectacularly vile human being accused of numerous violent crimes against women and hugely corrosive for young male minds.

Hey, look at Substack promoting Andrew Tate as the #1 new bestseller. The company's amoral leadership & backers will platform anyone, even ludicrously toxic rapists & human traffickers.

This guy wrote a whole essay about his hurt feelings but didn’t even manage to apologise to Chappell Roan directly, the person he libelled and directed a huge amount of hate towards when they were just minding their own business? And now he considers the matter closed? He can go straight in the bin

It's funny that Trump called Iran tough negotiators because he said "Give up your only two points of leverage forever" and they said "no"

The problem is that this US administration thinks negotiating means that they can dictate their conditions and then the other side has to take it or leave it. But diplomacy isn’t a real estate deal where wins and losses can be measured in dollars

“Even more troublingly, other researchers say, the fake papers were then cited in peer-reviewed literature. Osmanovic Thunström says this suggests that some researchers are relying on AI-generated references without reading the underlying papers.”

Earthset captured through the Orion spacecraft window at 6:41 p.m. EDT, April 6, 2026, during the Artemis II crew’s flyby of the Moon. A muted blue Earth with bright white clouds sets behind the cratered lunar surface. The dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime. On Earth’s day side, swirling clouds are visible over the Australia and Oceania region. In the foreground, Ohm crater has terraced edges and a flat floor interrupted by central peaks. Central peaks form in complex craters when the lunar surface, liquefied on impact, splashes upwards during the crater’s formation.

One of the problems with people not sharing things with attribution, AI etc is that we (rightly) don’t trust things that are real. This picture is making the rounds today and I’ve seen multiple ppl say it is fake. It isn’t!!!!

Yes, lifelong nighttime retainers. Wasn’t made particularly clear to me either when had my aligner consultation, but my gf had finished her course and told me. Also wasn’t mentioned by dentists when I was a kid with braces, but apparently the thinking has evolved since then? It does suck tho, sorry!

ICT building at Tehran's Sharif University of Technology reduced to rubble after more US-Israeli strikes An airstrike hit Monday an information and communication technology building at Tehran's Sharif University of Technology, a professor there said.

The AP is reporting that Sharif University in Tehran has been bombed.

This is Maryam Mirzakhani’s alma mater — the first woman to win a Fields Medal in math, and only one of two so far.

The university is also a leading center of opposition to the government.
