I think it's as simple as they don't have enough of an attention span to follow the product live, so they need reminders throughout the night and each show.

It also helps the fed producers because that's less time for them to be forced to write actual stories and have actual matches.

I think TK has done a great job really trying to differentiate his vision of pro wrestling to what the masses have been served the past two decades.

He really has provided a true alternative to the business and there are many fans, myself included, that can not thank him enough.

This is going to sound petty and tribalistic, but being a few days removed from Darby squashing Max, I like the layout of the match even more considering the YT content creators that didn't like how the match went primarily watch the fed.

It makes total sense considering the slop they watch.

TNA has to follow the AEW model and just cater to your own audience.

Once TK just went fully into catering to the hardcores, eventually some new fans started to watch.

More than anything, I think you're more likely to pull in new fans if they see that your current fans are having a great time.

The one clip that would dispell this myth is when Darby jumped through the plate of glass at Revolution 24.

Cameraman knew to focus on his back once he went through it and you saw all that blood start leaking out from his back. Even for a sicko, it was truly disgusting (for real & compliment).

I didn't realize watching it live that there was no recap package from the ppv (unsure if he knew there was one).

The past two Dynamite's after a ppv had a recap package.

I guess it also shows the Omega/Ospreay story is for the hardcores since he no sold (didn't even mention) it in his review.

That's a safe bet.

Only thing up in the air is if it will be early or late July.

I think if it's early to mid July we may get at least one opening round match at DoN, if later in the month they will probably have the entire tourney on TV.

This could be a scorching hot take, but I think Darby's reign will last about as long as that match went.

I may feel differently tomorrow, but if Darby was going to win it tonight, I kind of don't mind how it happened. I think I prefer this over an actual match.
