A classic retro rubberhose Toon is sobbing into the arms of Minnie Mouse. She is heartbroken that her career in Hollywood is gone. All of her hard work and her entire life is shattered after the industry blacklisted her. She is completely and utterly lost and doesn't want her career to be over so soon.
Minnie hugs the retro rubberhose Toon. Tears are forming in her eyes as she comforts Doris by telling her that it isn't her fault. She needs to believe in herself. Even though the doubts are eating away at her. Doris did her best and she made the right choice of not selling herself to the greedy studios.
Doris, still clutching to Minnie. Tears are flowing effortlessly as she stares at the ground, looking lost and ashamed. Still hanging onto every word Minnie tells her. A gloved hand caresses the back of Doris's hair in a comforting gesture. Minnie says things will be hard, but she is going to make it. Minnie fully believes in Doris. Because Doris is so talented. She was made to be a star.
The world around the two Toons seems to fade. It's just them. In this moment. In this embrace. Not as the Sponsor Girl and Disney Mascot. But as equals with the same struggles. Just two girls that were thrown to the wolves of Hollywood. Minnie holds Doris Doodle tighter. Confidently tells her to never stop doing what she loves. Never admit defeat because that's what the Hollywood industry wants her to do. Doris will keep going, keep acting, and make a comeback. . . someday. Doris will have to believe in herself. Because she will shine brighter than any other Toon.
Things will be hard for us artists, but we're going to make it! Don't ever stop creating. Don't let the A.I. slop win. We're going to keep bringing our stories to life.

Deleted mine and the Dawn and Doris account. Had 11k followers and 7k on the Doris account, but that's not a safe place to be. Also impossible to use now.
Is there a way to post 10+ images of a comic on here? Maybe a Webtoon link will do. I believe one avenue of posting is now unsafe and looking for other ways to show art and stories.
All's Fair, but replace one of the actors with Miss Piggy. I honestly think that was a missed opportunity.
