Summer holidays are over and I had so much fun. It was nice to be away from city life, just making art on an island cottage with no electricity or running water. Now I’m back to work and the office is a fucking dumpster fire… It’s hot and the AC not working and there’s another water damage. Joy.

It’s weird to not have any plans for a week, I don’t even remember the last time this happened xD I need to learn how to relax again. That’s my only goal for this summer.

Yeah, it’s not fun if you draw lots of art for others and never get anything in return :/ But I think I’ll make some gifts on my own terms and maybe also trades when I get my art energy back. No stress and no deadlines.

I wanted to join artfight this year but it seems like I’ll have to skip again. I need to get over my artblock and I don’t want to stress about drawing. Maybe next year!

3. Favorite oc - Midnight
This was a hard one, I love all my oc:s, but I choose my old angry guy Midnight (Keskiyö) as my all time favorite. He’s been with me a long time and I just love drawing him.

2. Newest oc - Goat sona
I wanted to make myself a new herbivore sona and I chose a goat because goats are badass. She doesn’t have a name yet.

1. Oldest oc - Kuutamo
My oldest wolf character is from my childhood when we used to play wolves with my cousins. Kuutamo (or Moonlight) has a very simple design and he was a very basic hero and a pack leader. Later I used him in my comic Blackfur’s Tale. He’s grown with me over the years.

I feel so nostalgic every time I see a ginga oc!! This character looks so badass, nice job. I just realised I’ve never made a ginga oc myself 😱
