Before the Miko Hearts appeared in the Nyanja (see previous post), they looked quite different, with different names and backstories. Once in the Nyanja, they took on the more chibi aesthetic of that game.

Before the Miko Heart, the guest character in The Nyanja had their appearance altered to be more chibi to fit the Nyanja aesthetic; they were designed more like the designs in FX Unit Yuki in their 2D promo art. Do you like them in their chibi forms or this? :) #oc

I drew this by hand back in 2019 but over the years, I would draw tons Kunio art, starting when I was a kid. My first ever Kunio game was a bootleg on the FC I got in Chinatown, LA in 1990 of Nekketsu Dodgeball. Thank you Yoshihisa Kishimoto for all the great memories! #岸本良久

The "Air-Kick" attack is a unique mechanic for this type of single-screen classic arcade action game. Kick stunned enemies right out of the air and kick them into other stunned enemies to create combos! It's very satisfying 😸 #oc #indiedev

The NEW opening cutscene for our game, The Nyanja! Coming VERY soon. Originally, these scenes were going to be static images with text like in FX Unit Yuki, but we've taken the extra time to revamp these scenes to make them more like original TurboGrafx/PC Engine CD cutscenes. #indiedev

In 2015, I created the character Oni-Bro for a game that was to be called Oni-Island. His game never happened and FX Unit Yuki started a year. However, there is a stage called Oni-Island in Yuki and Oni-Bro does appear in-game. Have you spotted him? #indiedev #indiegame #oc
