Oh, perfect. If it would make you feel more at home you’re welcome to reach around down there and see what lids or potentially other goodies you come up with, but that’s totally up to you

Is it okay if they are in a lower-level lazy Susan so they’re not so much falling onto the counters as getting stuck under the bottom of the lazy Susan while also occasionally sliding out onto the floor

Immediately begins drawing up the ideal human pyramid configuration from the Arsenal roster…

Simply incredible timing for this filing. Chef’s kiss, truly.

This was, in most ways, a rough game for this Nats fan to have driven down to watch on a work night…but it was such a silly, fun time and I freaking love a position player pitching so it was worth it 😂

I hope someone from Nats PR has preserved this for Joey 😂

Our whole section REALLY wanted an ABS challenge. We wanted to see if it could even register a 35 mile an hour pitch 😂

Our section (mostly full of pirates fans) was SO into him pitching and then chanting for him on his following at bat!

To be clear it didn’t go great in 2025 either. What with murdering the pope and all.

I got off the interwebs for a while so I wouldn’t know exactly when anything was happening…got back on and the first post I saw was, “Houston, Integrity, we have you loud and clear” and I’m DELIGHTED by my successful timing.

Ahh I love a good series of bedroom/DIY farts!

Should someone explain to them that the goal is to end the game in nine innings? And, perhaps more importantly, that the way to end the game in nine innings is to either have more or less runs—NOT the same number of runs—as the other team at that time?

Ugh I wish someone had thought of this sooner

I had a coworker whose legal first name was J. Just the letter. Which is extra confusing because Jay is a name??

It was absolutely irresponsible of Martinelli, but I do think you’re right that it would’ve been a red if the ref hadn’t been extremely aware he should’ve have been doing that 😂

Do you think when stuff like this happens the ref text thread is just RUTHLESS mockery of the cramper? I have to assume.

Goodness gracious, that feels like one million years ago.

Haha. I don’t think I’ve ever interacted with anyone who thinks that a minute and a half, spread over the scope of a whole baseball game, is a lot! But I suppose there’s nothing wrong with striving to be even more efficient 😆

Rodger. Why are you just posting this for all the world to see. Surely you could monetize this knowledge! People would pay for this level of analysis!

Isn’t it like less than 20 seconds per challenge?! With an expected average of about 4-5 challenges per game?

I’m fascinated to see how this plays out with some of these big egos. It’s going to piss them off, but like…idk what they’re gonna do about it! Which is great!
(Maybe what they’ll do about it is get better at their jobs? Maybe?)

That’s part of the thing—it’s SO FAST! I was nervous it would make it clunky but this is the opposite of that. It’s at worst brief and slightly unnecessary, at best delightfully satisfying and engaging.
