If I saw correctly, the book that he finds on his office desk is titled "Brain Rot," which could just easily apply to his character as it does the subjects of the book.

Long story short, we should all strive to be more like the beaver.

Just wild to me how many people are treating orbital data centers like some inevitability.
Alex said in a recent DF Direct he’s been dealing with a back injury that’s made it really difficult for him to travel to events like CES and GTC, so I imagine that’s part of the reason things played out the way they did.
NVIDIA, please leave Leon alone. He's perfectly handsome without an AI slop filter over his shit-eating grin 🥲
It’s so funny, though so much of the humor is specific to Toronto and Canada in the mid aughts.
I must have played through the campaign of Allies Assault at least a hundred times.

This is indeed a very thorough piece on the engineering and environmental ramifications of orbital data centers.
Too many “journalists” take the word of CEOs like Musk uncritically, Igor certainly doesn’t.
Really proud of the amount of work that went into this piece, and thankful to people like @astro-kevin.com for being so generous of their time. www.engadget.com/ai/orbital-a...
I bought the game today. I’m not sure what performance was like before, but it could be better. There’s noticeable input lag.
Such a classic.

Great reporting by @hardwareunboxed.bsky.social on the RTX 5070 Ti. NVIDIA just responded to my request. "Demand for GeForce RTX GPUs is strong, and memory supply is constrained. We continue to ship all GeForce SKUs and are working closely with our suppliers to maximize memory availability."
Like a guitar, every amp needs at least a couple of friends 😅
I think the Disney-OpenAI deal makes a lot more sense if you examine from the point of view of OpenAI's precarious financial position.
A lifetime ago 😅
I reviewed the OnePlus 15, which feels very much like OnePlus phones of yesterday. Mostly great hardware with a camera that could be better.
Bluesky! Help me find a home for our beautiful, sweet foster kitty Leon. He’s a very chill 1 year old boy who loves attention and is great with other cats. Looking for his forever home now in and around San Francisco.

Not sure why so many companies think full suspension is something you need on a bike people will primarily use for commuting. It just makes the thing more expensive and difficult to maintain. Plus, that drivetrain looks like it will be a nightmare to fix, but at least it has a belt drive, right?
Just wanted to say, the weekend coverage has been on point.
Another handsome ginger 😭
