It is so sad. My mom had UC and Crohn’s. She was afraid to leave the house most days.

Oh no on UC. My mum had that and it was no fun. Sorry to hear. My first two times the vaccine wasn’t ready. I had 3 vaccines in 2021/2022. My doctor checked my antibodies after each one and I never built up an immunity from them. I am apparently just one of those people who will continue to get it

Same. I got long covid on round 1 also. The 2nd time I had pneumonia with it but ED doctors just kept sending me home saying it was my long covid until they figured out on my 3rd trip to ED. I have a friend who still deals with bad long covid symptoms 4 years later.

Thank you. Two of the times were scary. The rest were like having a bad cold and flu combined luckily.

1st was from my husband having surgery in hospital and getting it. 2nd time a client lied about not having covid and gave it to us. 3rd time a friend saw me while having it and told me after the fact. 4-6 was random. 2 of 6 times I got pneumonia which was extra fun.

I have had it six confirmed times. Masks did nothing to stop me from getting it. Some people are just more prone to get it.
