Under UK law, that’s interference from a foreign body in our politics.
They claim to fight “foreign control” yet hand the mic to a US billionaire from South Africa. Clear hypocrisy.

This suggests they may have been less motivated by security concerns and more by a desire to use available powers to limit #FreeSpeech and activism. It’s likely they knew PA was not a significant terror threat but wanted to curb their activities by any means necessary.

Generally, if a group is genuinely deemed terror threat, proscription tends to happen swiftly and without hesitation. My theory is informed by the fact that #Labour lost a court case attempting to shut down Palestine-related marches, and shortly after that legal setback, they moved to proscribe PA.
#Labour reportedly considered proscribing the #PalestineAction group (PA) as early as March, but decided against it due to concerns over public perception and optics. This was well before the RAF paint-spraying incident involving PA activists.
