A handful of years ago Nick was “the future of epic fantasy” w/Mercenary King trilogy. Starts w/ THE KINGDOM OF LIARS. Is great.
Now, curtain rises on Act II, w/ Nick’s editor comparing him to Ray Bradbury.
Different comps, same great Nick. TERMINA STATION will have you missing your train stop.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Firestorm, and am happy as a Hyena that this new first issue is more killer than a Killer Frost

The place to find out that Superman: The Movie lost an actor, a writer and an art director in 2025.
Just in time for tonight’s Oscar festivities, my Ten Best of 2025.
Right this moment, I’m posting with the films listed, and I’ll be going in to add comments to each entry later, and will re-post when finished.
There’s one movie to rule them all from 2025, and that’s Sinners.

At least the Washington Post makes it relatively easy to cancel a subscription. I only had to click once, then twice, then thrice.
But now I need something else that’s good to read, because we should all get news from multiple sources.
Not eager to give Rupert my money.
But you’re not saying we should keep reading The Washington Post, Dalton? Are you??
Reading yes, but reading the desiccated husk of the Post should be a hard No.
Today is the 50th anniversary of Jenette Kahn becoming the publisher at DC Comics, an absolute watershed moment in American comics history, both business-wise and creatively.
So excited to see two @trnapper.bsky.social stories here including the novella THE HIDDEN GOD, from Asimov’s, which simply blew me away.
