This suggests trump is using 1/60th as 600% which doesn't even make sense? Like $10 to $600 is a 6000% increase so he didn't just inverse that. And 1/60th doesn't mentally become 600 in any way I can work out??
I literally cannot figure this out. Even using trump logic, I cannot figure it out.

I think you can get 1 veto pass of whatever you want in exchange for the ballroom. He will be able to call it a win, it keeps him busy, he gets to pretend he has a legacy and it's ultimately harmless.
We're calling people with no college degree who have full time employment, pto, regular hours, health insurance and make 40k "low-paid" now? Is that what we're doing? Ok.
"Conveniently we're sure they meant this to be exactly what we wanted. No, we will not be elaborating on that further."
This is why originalism is so fucking dumb
Honestly if I were a member of the OH GOP I'd be doing some tongue-in-cheek irony posting right now but they don't have the kind of self-awareness of their absurdity to pull this off. They are just actual IRL idiots.
This is because deep down, in places they don't want to talk about at parties, they know skyline rules.
OH passed an anti gerrymandering amendment and the OH GOP responded to that by refusing to adopt anything the redistricting commission created until the clock ran out and the state had to accept what the legislature wanted or else we wouldn't have had any maps.
"Welcome to the party, pals!" indeed.
Like imagine CNN wants a CNN feed of all CNN content. That feed has to be assigned to a user? A CNN corporate account? And if CNN blocks someone for being abusive that person can't see their content? I don't think that's what CNN wants.
Yeah it's not clear to me that someone blocking you should deny you access to a feed they created. That seems like a design decision that I would have gone the other way on for reasons like this. Because now you can't really have "commercial" feeds unless you never block anyone.
Two things can be true:
Congress should pass uniform, national legislation reining in partisan gerrymandering; and
Until that happens, or every state adopts an independent redistricting commission, neither party is going to (or, frankly, should) unilaterally disarm.
The "you" here is the manufacturer of the battery tech, not the owner of the car.
Bonus, my 7yo knows some Korean now too.
My 7 year old's best friend in first grade is from S Korea and when the school year started she barely spoke English and now they have whole conversations. But yeah sure the problem is definitely the immigrants.
Which is also silly because I can still run 1.24 miles without any increased risk, in your proposed analogy.
It's not like you can accidentally overcharge your car. The extra 20% is, in fact, very useful.
That's like saying I should set my maximum running distance to 1 mile because it's the distance I do the fastest. I should just never run more than that.
Why is 80% the "best" maximum? It's just the one you get to the fastest. That's not necessarily best.
And I really think it's mostly inertia. I know no one wants to have to load up two different apps but just have a bot that mirrors the posts here and see how it goes for a while. I bet he'd be pleasantly surprised!
Or "I forgot to charge my car last night and I have to go somewhere." Possibly an emergency situation where you didn't plan to make a medium ranged trip but now suddenly have to.
It's a peace of mind thing we take for granted with internal combustion.
I will always like a will stein post even if it's for the other team now
A "see previous email..." moment.
It's so dumb because businesses spent decades figuring out how to do this exact same thing without stepping over the line into price fixing and they just decided to send emails about it or something? Price leadership has a like 100 year history!!!
This is the same thing grandpa does with fox business channel or whatever but it's not rotting my brain (in the same way).
I think a big step towards doing this life is having a PVP or grindy PVE game you like to play because it's infinite content of the same game being played with the same sound effects over and over again.
Yeah I can't actually use a movie cause I'd stop and look at it. So it would have to be a movie I already watched and then I have to actually *pick a movie*. And when that one ends I have to pick another one. Ugh.
I have to have noise on, so it's either music or a dude playing video games. Daytime TV is absolutely terrible. Sports aren't on till 7 or later.
The difference between a 30 minute charge and a 9 minute charge may not be a big deal when you've already adjusted your usage patterns but it's a big deal to someone who still owns a gas car and is thinking of switching.
Because you can do a full charge it just takes longer and reduces the lifespan of the battery. So you only do it when you really need to, like for road trips.
It was literally our job to take some amount of risk. So if a 16-year-old who only did basic first responder training thought "wait, hold on, this seems like the wrong message..." then it sure seems like grown ass police officers should be thinking it too.
... And I remember them drilling into us this idea of "don't go if it's not safe" (about both water rescues and everything else) and I get the bigger point but do you think we weren't going into the street to help that kid on a bike who was hit? Cause we did. We just stopped traffic.
