Thank you! As I am actually trying to get to the strings (I'm stuck in the game 😇), do you maybe have some more details? I suppose when it's different records, there must be some kind of ToC? Are there some magic bytes to find that and the boundaries of the records?
Could you please tell more about the process of extracting/replacing the strings?
When I had a peek at DATA.-1- and DATA.-2-, it was just "garbled" data, so probably compressed or even encrypted? Is there a tool to uncompress these files? It seems the "engine" was used in other games as well.
