Yeah, that's a beautiful piece of kit. Fogou do an small but excellent range of "Dark Age" buildings for Ireland as well. always wanted to indulge but I have to many resin buildings in boxes from years ago that have not seen any paint 🤫

There is a tournament scene for rule sets such as Swordpoint (the one most based on Warhammer Ancient Battles) To the Strongest, L’Art de la Guerre (ADLG), Mortem et Glorium and a few others. If you're interested you can find videos on YouTube etc covering most of the rules.

funny you should ask that. Before 2012 there was a vibrant tournament scene for Warhammer Ancient Battles (in 28mm) before GW dropped the game and gradually interest waned.

Thank you! The only freehand is on the banner. The shied designs are transfers in order to avoid going insane; saying that, I do quite often paint my own shield designs, but if I go via that route it's LBMS transfers for the banners (or the like)! to do do both lies only a the pathway to madness 😆
