Oberhausen has way more haberdashery and Wuppertal the better fabric. Both places have really kind sales persons.

If you have the chance you should definitely check out Buddeberg & Weck in Wuppertal. Unfortunately they only open Monday to Friday but it's the best fabric store I've been to (closely followed by the one in Oberhausen) 😌🤲✨️
