It has become completely normal for Israelis - even kids - to openly laugh at the suffering of Palestinians.

This is a profoundly sick society. To have the slightest chance of being redeemed more need to be fighting for whatever humanity is left in them.

There are Germans who fought back against the Nazis. There are Russians fighting back against Putin. Syrian soldiers abandoned the Assad regime in huge numbers.

Israelis can do more. There are those who already are doing everything they can, but nowhere near enough.

When Israel loses, most people of conscience will remember their victims and survivors. Israeli soldiers and politicians will be studied as perpetrators of a genocide. They will join the long list of societies that committed genocide.

I’m sick and tired of generations of Israelis mass murdering kids and then telling the world how sad they feel. We don’t need another ‘Walz With Bashir’ for the Gaza genocide, the colonisation of the West Bank and the destruction of S. Lebanon.

We need more Israelis with a functioning conscience.

If you feel bad for doing a Holocaust you better be working to dismantle the regime that is *STILL DOING IT*. Whatever your role is, you owe the children you murdered that. It’s the absolute fucking least you owe them.

There are already refuseniks, Israelis who refused to serve in the IDF and be complicit in genocide, apartheid and occupation. *Those* Israelis are heroes.

What Israeli Jews face for refusing to serve their genocidal army is absolutely nothing compared to what that army does for Palestinians.

The IDF is great at poisoning the water, at uprooting trees, at flying drones over schools, at blowing up mosques and churches, at terrorising grandmas and grandpas.

Even their own internal reports show that most of their victims are civilians.

Israeli soldiers keep on being portrayed as part of a highly efficient army that knows how to kill its enemies. That was always a lie. What the IDF is best at is using the latest technology to better slaughter children.
