The spine of the Zobeck Gazeteer / Tales of Zobeck book has the gears.

I designed the original Zobeck Gazetteer / Tales of Zobeck patronage project for Open Design as a flip book because... I was left unsupervised and didn't know any better, but ai thought it would be a fun perk for the backers.

(This was print on demand, so it's basically apocryphal.)

In a crowded Ten Forward, Will Riker stands in the middle of the room playing his trombone. To the right is Zoot of the Electric Mayhem playing along on saxophone. Beverly Crusher is standing just behind Riker looking impressed. A man in civilian clothing is just behind her looking like he is very much enjoying the entertainment. Geordi La Forge is standing to the far right, arms crossed as he listens to the duo.

Such sad news. He brought so much joy and enthusiasm to the gaming community. I was lucky enough to hear his spiel on the D-Total one fine Sunday afternoon at Gencon.

The use of the term "fractional" as a replacement for "part-time" or "freelance" on LinkedIn is going to be my villain origin story.

I am hyped for this, because I enjoy running the Remaster Beginner Box, and, in true greedy gamer fashion, I hope this means a 2nd edition Starfinder set is imminent!

An email announces — inaccurately— that “D&D’s first official Actual Play is here!”

I have stuff to say about this, but as y’all might know, I’m finishing a book about how this is just… inaccurate.

For now I’ll just put this here:

Twist my arm, why don't you!

Yup! I'm sure those distinctions had all kinds of creative and legal implications.

I'm sure the licensee status of Warriors of Waterdeep as a mobile game is why the commissioned AP was never recognized/supported (but authorized) and now, amusingly, persists on a YouTube channel that WotC controls.

The Wikipedia list... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...

Lots of recognized names there. And every show appeared on an official WotC channel in some capacity.
