Then again, they don’t seem to care about the actual law when it’s inconvenient.
Being declared incompetent to stand trial is not a “get out of jail free card” nor is it a walk in the park. It means months lingering in jail for a bed in a psychiatric facility and then court proceedings continue if competence is restored.
