Ooofff, the series has so many good moments. One moment that I keep thinking about though is a meeting between Jane Roland and Laurence later on, where he stares at her hands and, though there is no romance involved, feels attracted to her matureness. The whole non-romance focus of the series was 👌😍

2nd, "Playing with Fire": The Dark Comedy Wee John/Izzy Genderbend fic I never expected to write (& ended up loving to pieces).
As it's a rare pair, it flew under people's radar, but I genuinely think it's one of my best works.

Both are Modern AU EdIzzy stories, "Moments of Truth" about figure skating, "A Taste of Paradise" a Biker AU. Both deal with Emotional Hurt/Comfort, but the premise and resolution differ wildly. (8/10)
"Turning Tides" by ewelinakl, lustig Summary: The death of Calico Jack has shaken the Demon Slayer Corps to its core. It has been a long time since one of the top six demons has been spotted, and even longer since the last time a Slayer ranking as high as Jack has fallen in battle. With part of the Corps going rogue to avenge Jack, the rest struggles to protect their vulnerable core against Prince Ricky's strongest demons. Because if the Republic of Pirate falls, everything will be lost.
