I'm basically the poster child for why people with mental health problems genuinely need emotional support animals. My mental health is on the rocks and I need something to take care of that won't judge me or leave. Please help if you can.
I need cats in my life like I need air, food, water, shelter, and medicine. If you know, you know, but it's nothing I can explain. It's the difference between a house not being a home without a pet, and I can't function without a reason. Emotional support animals are a real need.

I didn't post it like I did for Purr because it was too much, but last Thursday, almost exactly two weeks apart, I had to put my older cat to sleep. My precious Tyra, the first cat I picked, and my first saving grace. I'm very far from okay these days.
Me, too. No matter what it's hard and I'm sorry you had to go through that.
I think it became a distinction because not every homeless person is on the street. Some are temporarily housed with family or friends but still homeless.
