Spoke too soon. I just got another interruption of internet connection like I had all day yesterday, but it lasted only 2 seconds. I have a feeling that there organized attacks on Bluesky funded by some conservative group.

A fine 4 today. After my 2-guess eliminations, I had 4-words possible. My streak of 3s ended at 5-days. No issues with Bluesky today, and I would really like to hear if they found the source of interference.

I grew up on weekly goulash dinners. My mother's German roots version was ground beef, elbow macaroni, tomato sauce with chopped celery and onions, and of all things, kidney beans so we would get our iron. I didn't like that last part. It was always better as a leftover side dish.

I filled up my hybrid yesterday for $2.89/gal in Houston ($3.89 posted price). Shell gives a discount based on Kroger grocery spend. This was the 2nd time I received a $1.00/gal discount. I needed 10 gals but saved $10 on gas only because Kroger (and other stores) prices keep climbing.

A 3 after elimination rounds left me picking the right word in a toss-up. The other choice for me today was a far different and very devious word that I expect will come up sometime later this year. I'll be on the lookout.

A 4 after 2-round elimination results led me to 20 minutes working through a dozen combinations to find 2-words and of course I chose the other one. I don't mind the first guess blank because I will always get 2-3 hits on the second guess.
