Not dead, just trynna put out several fires at once, I miss art and reading and I hope I’ll get a little break soon, so I can do both of those things again 🥲 (looking at old work of mine so I don’t forget that I can in fact draw)
I look back on older works and I often wonder what the hell I'm doing with all these random drawings when I have plenty of good material to go back to.
But then again 80% of it are in the-moment doodles.
Time flies by too fast. What felt like recent artworks in my memory are now actually old.

I always offer my help, when it comes to things like creating word docs or adjusting meta data in bulk because I know it comes easy to me and they struggle with it but they always assume I’m sloppy, just because I’m doing things faster than them.
It’s always funny, when older colleagues (that I support with tasks) tell me not to rush or else I’ll „make mistakes“.
Ma‘am I’m not rushing, that’s my normal speed 😭 with all due respect to my elders but they’re out there struggling for 2 hours to adjust a word header, we walk a different pace.

I sometimes still check twitter for news but quickly close it again, because all the misinformation and AI makes it near unusable, not to mention the drones of people asking grok where their own asshole is, because they’ve forgotten how to google and fact check.
distracting myself with the overdue task of disassembling my setup and moving my desk to the living room, maybe I’ll build some fairytale cottage in the SIMS later 😭 (that requires only 20% of my brain capacity)

It’s super comfortable 😭 I even replaced the original plastic stumps it came with, with longer wooden legs so it has the same height as my regular office chair (because I have to work, draw and watch movies/game. It’s honestly surprising how well the IKEA kivik fits under an L shaped desk??
