Regulations are what keeps ordinary Americans healthy and, often, alive.
It took spoiled meat and rodent droppings out of our food. It took harmful lead out of our gasoline and paint. It took poison out of our water.
Deregulation only achieves one goal: making rich corporations richer.

2 thumbs up for the new ebikes.
We used to drive our VW diesel powered van everywhere, room for the ebikes in the back. This year we plan on swapping the van for an ev and putting the folding ebikes on the back seat.
It's the last step in switching off fossil fuels. All electricity we use is self generated and stored now.

Ahmed al Ahmed, the man who tackled one of the Bondi killers, became an Australian citizen 3 years ago.
His deed was "his way of conveying his gratitude for staying in Australia, for being granted citizenship."
He took 5 bullets, and fears he'll lose his left arm.

IMPORTANT: The Dutch invest β¬595 million annually on urban biking, resulting in β¬19 BILLION saved in public health care costs alone. Thatβs how smart governments do the math on investing in better mobility.
Letβs be clearβ it wastes public money to NOT do it.

Incredibly exciting to see this first Treaty in Australia, with the Treaty Bill going toVictorian Parliament today.
This Treaty will begin the long slow process of addressing the harms of colonisation and making a better future for all Victorians.

I'm standing next to my bike on the breakwater.
My bike is in the shop for repair. Boy do I miss it, the part is coming from the other side of the world, it's small and cheap yet vital. I'm glad I can ride my partner's bike in the meantime.
