the healthcare is abysmal. the benefits suck if you aren't basically destroyed by service just short of dying. veteran's affairs wants you to die so they don't have to spend money on you and will do everything in their power to ensure you just barely scrape by to save a penny or self-delete.

as a Navy veteran myself (not by choice, it was that or homelessness), i am begging you if you are young and impressionable to sprint the fuck away from any recruiter and to understand their entire job is to lie to you to get you to sign the dotted line to go die for israel and oil companies.
