Do they not have a style guide at all or do they just change it all the time?

Sachs is taking a beating in the comments on Reason, which is some exciting failure on home court.
In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.
I hope so.
Maybe!
People were pretty mad after Trump45 and we got Biden.
Are people even more mad now? Yes.
… but my trust in both the Dem primary electorate and the general electorate is extremely low.
“There no such thing as an anti-badass film.”
The damage to Thomas and Kavanaugh was permanent?
That’s not what it says, though.
“Allbirds (BIRD) stock veered nearly 30% lower on Thursday afternoon, sharply reversing from a nearly 600% gain on Wednesday…”
You could do this exact same pump and dump under Biden with NFTs, though.
Sophia A. Nelson @IAmSophiaNelson A statement by Justin's alma mater @DeMathaCatholic on this horrible murder-suicide. We are all trying to process the unthinkable. All who knew Justin--are stunned. Shocked. How could this happen? Why would he do this to his wife and kids? We will never know. It's devastating.
“We will never know”?
We’ve got some pretty good ideas already!
It sounded like a way to line the pockets of Dan Gheesling’s mom.
I think Herrenvolk Socialist is also apropos.
Tarantino stole it verbatim, though.

I also use Epic when I don’t read the Humble Bundle fine print and end up with an Epic activation code and then I don’t play the game.
Yes, I know that was civ-civ. It’s still the most important example of resignations going above and around the President.
I’m surprised you deconstructed McMasterism without bringing up the Saturday Night Massacre. The steelman version of McMasterism posits that sufficiently dire civilian leadership will cause not just one resignation but a cascade of them that will shock observers, simply because it’s post-Nixon.
Truly remarkable how many people have told the Pope, in some way or another, to "shut up and dribble." Or corrected him on the Bible, despite their thin education on theology. Or told him to stay out of US affairs, despite him being a US citizen. The hubris is amazing.
There’s also Pinnacle’s Adios A-Mi-Go licensed or done with permission in ‘98. I feel like there was another thing around the CthulhuPunk and A-Mi-Go era but it’s tip-of-my-tongue and back-of-my-brain.
I think maybe The Hills Rise Wild was the first Pagan Cthulhu-related thing to not be licensed?
They keep having to literally chase kids away! It’s “the town that Silent Hill is based off of.”
I know there was something like a second explosion after people decided they didn’t need to bother with the license at all, but that came later. Do you know offhand what the first game or company to play legal chicken with Chaosium was?
AFAIK, CthulhuPunk is one of the few GURPS books to not have a pdf because of that license.
Eldar are also just normal dudes in this context. They’re “inscrutable” but it’s not like anything other than death cults are particularly scrutable to the Imperium.
Like, the most recent big shakeup to the plot of 40k was almost a decade ago when a Primarch came back and GW’s stance on this has been “this dude and his Space Fascism are the only hope against human extinction.”
Also, the thing at the beginning is not a “this is bad” disclaimer. It is designed to make the setting sound as cool as possible to 13-year old boys. The “laughter of thirsting gods” line reinforces that the Imperium is metaphysically necessary.
The “it’s not Chunk Palahniuk’s fault a bunch of dudes misunderstood Fight Club” argument is fine as far as it goes, but it doesn’t apply nearly as much here in a shared world with thousands of works. GW could at any point choose to correct course, but it can’t because “shareholder value.”
The aesthiticification of religion.
It made sense in context. I just assumed all the really cool authors elide the word “words.”
The original sin of 40k is that only psykers can be easily possessed by daemons. Everything flowing from that is non-satire fash bullshit, because the actual metaphysics of the world enforce it.
The witch is weak and craven and perfidious and also all-powerful and capable of immense destruction.
Yeah, it’s hard to keep a straight face about Dredd being satire when the Karl Urban Dredd movie—which I absolutely love—is played almost entirely straight.
There’s at least two different LLM slopmachines that will make STLs from 2d pictures. I would not be surprised if a company that does AI art is also doing AI STLs.
