Nothing to be proud for this last round. The kid was playing too fastly and didn't even looked to be interested in chess... I told him some nice words after the game.

Critical position was that... Usually, I'm playing quite conservatively, but here I thought there was a big opportunity to sacrifice the bishop to open the position of Black's king.

Hard to continue after such a bad game in R1...

How much should we play?

Danish Gambit, I was surprised a 1700 opponent would play that. I thought for a while, and I was surprised because I thought I was going to win a pawn after Bxf3 Bxf3 Qxd4 Qxd4 Nxd4 Bxc6 but I have Nc3+.

I had also Bxf3 Bxf3 Qxd4 Bxc3 but I haven't seen it was a check 😭😭😭

It's a 3 round tournament, 50min+10s/move. Recently I had good positions in these tournament, but sometimes, I failed to convert because of time trouble.

Which software do you use to have this output?

1) it's exploiting a pin.
2) not a queen sacrifice, it's a removing the guard theme.

For me, a queen sacrifice is when you win a positional advantage after the sacrifice.
