The NASA tracker footage from 7m timestamp onward is just unbelievable...

Totally get it โค๏ธ
'Twas a joke, good sir.
Two weeks ago, half the posts about Artemis on here were roughly along the lines of "why send people to space when there are problems on Earth".
Today, it's all joy and amazement. This is what NASA and human spaceflight is about. ๐ฅน
I mean, you don't *really* know that. OP might be... somewhere unexpected.
Peer deps all the things!
Def. After leaving IGN, I committed to never working for a company that made money through adverts ever again.
The modern IGN site is great, but much more conventional than IGN circa 2015. Those years where you and @vachon.bsky.social crossed over were the golden years of IGN design.
I still **love** that design, the red stripe and shader card and all. Looks better than most tech/gaming sites today. ๐
Ya know, AI would be much easier to get excited about if it didn't involve paying $$$ to the biggest scumbags to ever come out of Silicon Valley.
I saw the 3.9g figure for peak re-entry deceleration somewhere, so yup, very quickly indeed.
What using the atmosphere as a brake look like. #Artemis
Have you played around with browser dev tools yet? Take a non-app site (e.g. Wikipedia), right click anywhere, and pick "inspect". It's like popping the hood on a car. It will look overwhelming, and you'll understand all of it one day, but still fun to poke around. :)
By the end, she was like, nah, STP sucks...
(I've had folks argue those kinds of tests are useless, and maybe in an ideal world they would be, but, working on a large, messy team, they are sometimes necessary)
I'm mostly agree, but only for interaction tests, and not everything that I test are user interactions. E.g. writing low-level unit tests for some design system component, where I'm really trying to lock in implementation. Not a common case, but that's when I reach for data-testids.
That early bet on PnP was a huge misstep. Felt like engineers getting carried away with a cool idea, ignoring what most users wanted.
Ah, fair point ๐
Metric, please, for the love of science...
I don't think there is any kind of shift to web components, just a handful of content sites (read: not apps) that use them. It's a super niche architecture.
Thank god EU foreign policy isn't based on bsky replies. The stupidity is mind boggling.
Atlantic division with 4 games to go in the season ๐คฏ
Definitely at that "I need JIRA to help manage my to-dos" stage of factory buildin'...
Anything to drop the awfully slow SASS parser ๐
So many breathtaking photos on the timeline today ๐ฅน
Wasn't Scott an advisor on Stowaway (2021)?
