Sometimes we have such an embarrassment of 4 star and above riches we scoff more at 3 to 3.5 matches more than we should. Simply good to very good matches are wonderful, especially when it comes from those who step it up a notch above their usual efforts.

The idea that Stephanie McMahon did a lot for women's wrestling is propaganda. WWE presents her as a feminist icon so their record of abuse, objectification, and misogyny is ignored. Especially now, when they've sold their women's roster out to Saudi Arabia as false signposts of feminist progress.

Honestly I think there is a lot of meat, but it is half hazard prepared, under seasoned, over cooked and over handled.

No one in wrestling wanted to make a quality plate this weekend. They instead got together an over priced buffet of subpar quality.

I think 2024 was the last year I felt the need to gobble as much wrestling as possible WrestleMania weekend. Last year, and Especially this year it is hard to be bothered. I may cherry select some matches afterward but as a weekend the appeal isn't there for me anymore.

I sometimes try to get myself to write wrestling articles for VOW again. I like wrestling, I like writing. But so many others do it in such amazing, articulate, and consistent ways I ask if it is really needed/wanted. I do miss it, but I think other things in life scratch that itch now.

I sometimes think instant takes are ruining the wrestling experience for some of us. Instead of processing and digesting shit, we immediately log in and have to try to be one of the first to let everyone know what we think. Allowing yourself to be in the moment is a lost experience for many.

It is not the best film ever, but The Good The Bad The Ugly is a personal fav. Does so many things right that just hit the spot for me. I have a soft spot for many different style of westerns, and watching this on a lazy afternoon as a child, commercial breaks and all, brings back happy memories.
