After a long break I'm back in the game dev mines now with overhauled character movement. I also remade the melee combat system to add support for different weapon types and it broke everything, so the last 5 months have been on and off fixing of that.

Dreadnaught from the old black reach starter set. Had to strip my awful paint job from when I was 10, and then I magnetised the arms. I also spilled an entire bottle of AK red wine on it, so that was a pain to clean

They look very nice! Crimson Fists will always have a special place in my heart as they were the first army I ever wanted to collect back in 2008

Working on a whole pre-primaris CF army, so 7th ed seemed like the logical choice, especially with how accessible the rules are.

The main bulk is homemade plaster cast rocks, the gaps filled with miliput sculpted to look like rock. Cork and aluminium foil was also used to bulk out any sections that needed it.

Go over all the little details like the joints, tubes, and slits in the limbs with a pure black. It'll give you a visual reset and you'll be able to see what needs doing next

I reckon I'll play a few games with him, and if he performs any feats I can tailor some cool heraldry.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love dreadnaughts, so of course I had to add one to my Dark Angels army. Gotta come up with something to freehand on the shield. All that's left is 5 intercessors and my 1k points are done.

That’s why I so often see “suits” hinder creatives, or exploit/control/defile them. Dominance and control bred out of an inferiority complex.

Well it started as a demonstration to teach a friend how to paint yellow but it looked too good to not paint the whole marine
