This is a bit of a kit clash - the big white back on the #usmnt home jersey is causing issues. When a US player’s back is facing camera it’s not immediately easy to discern from the Belgian look. Not loving the numbers either.
Nothing says “big international soccer match” like a huge projected screen, a little washed out, aspect ratio too wide, at a bar with all the windows open

As a piece of fashion, the away shirt kills. On-field, the big question is the lower half of the uniform. With white shorts and black socks, it could look incredible. If it’s a mono-black kit it will look drab.
away - I need to sit with it. I think I really like it but it also seems wildly wrong for this year - but then again, maybe black (“carbon”) makes some kind of narrative sense at this moment in time.
I question whether this will be as cool for civilian / fashion-oriented fans, but I think for on-field use it accomplishes the assignment quite well. Need more navy in the equation somewhere.

first impression on the home - not bad. Nike was almost certain to give us some version of the Waldo. This one is a little esoteric, if not clever. It nods to ‘94 and even gets a hint of a sash into the design.
