Aided by a bunch of bad officiating, that was the worst quarter the C's have played in a long while.

Obvious hype bullshit used to justify spying on employees.
In what universe is an "AI" going to be moving a pointer around a user interface and typing letter by letter?
Secretary of War Pete Hegs... • © • 39m The War Department is once again restoring freedom to our Joint Force. We are discarding the mandatory flu vaccine requirement, effective immediately.
General George Washington required Continental Army soldiers be inoculated for smallpox. We would not have won independence if he hadn’t.
You dumb chucklefuck.
it was also a three-man booth last night. the three-man booth really needs to be reserved for the absolute top crew that is always together. it's just too hard to find chemistry otherwise.
Yeah. I understood the KAT-Randle trade in the sense of getting off of KAT's money. But re-signing Randle...I didn't see it.
on a more celtics-centric level, i have to think the Wolves would have been just fine handing Reid's minutes to Garza. But I'm very happy to have Garza!
The Wolves could have let Julius Randle walk.
The Wolves could have let Naz Reid walk.
Instead, they let Nickeil Alexander-Walker walk, and as a result, they now have to give Bones Hyland real playoff minutes. And as a result, it's just impossible to take them seriously.
Sometimes being super comfortable playing close games in the 4th quarter is a double-edged sword.
There was a lot of confusion there on the broadcast, but the the Knicks called two timeouts after the three minute mark (2:45, :10). They didn't have one to call at the end.
Poeltl hasn't played in the second half, and it's been a draw thus far. You have to wonder if he gets the rest of the series off, and if so, what that does for his longterm value.
I love this new rule that if Jalen Brunson falls down, you have to review for a flagrant foul.
No idea why Barrett is on Mitchell and Shead is on Harden. Unless the Raptors want to lose by 30? I suppose that could be their strategy.
will be interested to see if 1st team will just have three centers or if White and/or Wallace will find their way to 1st team.
Boston won 7 more games than Minnesota and had the 4th-best defense by DefRtg while Minn was 8th, but I understand the inertia of voting for Gobert is tough to overcome. And as much as people dislike Gobert, the media is so tired of the Celtics. So much of the "gap year" stuff was media wishcasting.
Who would have imagined that a billionaire from Texas would turn out to be an asshole? Reallllllly makes you think.
I just can't picture fumbling the bag any harder. This playoff trip should be pure joy for the Blazers and their fans. Instead, they get this.

Even worse is Russo gaslighting people saying that they did it to build community. You did it to make sure "Doomsday" capitalizes on the goodwill from "Endgame" you spent the last 5-6 years frittering away. You did it to maximize revenue. Which is FINE. Just say that.
I was already pretty disappointed with Marvel for bringing back Tony Stark. That they're now adding footage to "Endgame" because they did such a thoroughly shitty job with Phase 4 is even more disappointing. deadline.com/2026/04/joe-...
they were like "he got the record!" like it was a good thing and not incredibly strange.
The irony of that State Farm ad is that old Jon Bon Jovi is the very picture of the stranger your parents warned you not to accept a ride from.
Toumani Camara is a flopper.
teenagers meme different, i guess.
hahaha yeah, i get a lot of eye rolls for that one. or blank stares from those who don't know Marvel, which is much worse!
yeah, i mean it was probably pre-internet tbh. certainly pre-twitter. and it's ok, i always feel old. like how the hulk is always angry. i joke with my staff that if i was mark ruffalo, the line would have been "that's my secret, Cap. i always have back pain."
uh, i hate to disagree with you, but that was a very common take back in my day.
It would be objectively hilarious if the Magic have suddenly turned into the top-three seed team people thought they were in the preseason.
This is amazing.
I have to say, I enjoyed that Celtics game.
Alperen Sengun should not have made the All-Star team this season.
Wrote this Friday night. Seems pretty, pretty relevant after Sengun's 6-for-19 stinker in Game 1. green-tint.ghost.io/key-round-on...
One of the many problems Atlanta has in this series is that they don't have enough players the refs respect. And Josh Hart knows it. So he's just going to hack away and dare the refs to whistle the Knicks for 10-12 fouls per quarter. And he's usually going to win that dare.
The Knicks series is not even 25 minutes old, and already their two Fragile Warriors (or their daddies) have begged for foul reviews.
