I want Battle Hymn of the Republic energy from Democrats

It helped Obama that his one foreign policy thing any of us can remember about from 2008 was opposing the Iraq war.

Make statements similar to that and also pick whatever the 2028 equivalent of Joe Biden is for your VP and she'll be in good shape.

Disappointing considering Paramount's purchase of Warner.

But, Max, *those* people live in cities. You know, *those* people.

What do Highlander and Virginia Republicans have in common?

There can be only one.

On the one hand, I'd have to log in to Twitter. On the other hand, screw MAGA. We all make sacrifices.

Did you get the new 4k release from Kino Lorber?

I agree with @nerdjpg.com that "strong third parties are quite difficult in our current system". Therefore, working within one of the two parties is how you'll get the change you want.

You want RCV? You'll want Democrats to help. Republicans never, ever will.

Under the current system you'll only get Democrats or Republicans in charge. Republicans will never pass what you want. Two Democrats have proposed what you want. Neither of them are leftists.

You won't support Democrats everywhere so they get a large majority so you'll never get what you want.

Did you even read the website? Fairvote says it's a "national problem". They are promoting a bill sponsored by two Democrats.

I assume you agree with Fairvote. You linked them, after all.

Get more Democrats elected at the national level and you'll get what you want.

You linked to a website promoting a bill sponsored by two Democrats. The only people that will pass this bill are Democrats and the only way Democrats pass this bill is with a huge majority in the House and Senate.

But you won't work for this.

In order to pass this, or anything like it, you'll need a huge Democratic majority.

I think people who break the law should be punished for breaking the law, regardless of the lawbreaker's political ideology. You think breaking the law is fine if you're socialist.

300 hours of community service and 36 months probation and you're whining about a slap on the wrist.

This is going to be close, isn't it?

Platner sounds like a terrible person. Just an idiot edgelord who is 41 and never grew up.

He'll be an absolute embarrassment in the Senate.

This was one of my favorite sets. I now own a second after buying one from Bricklink. So simple and fun!

I like that Jumbo's colors were so iconic and visible in a peloton largely devoid of yellow that the team kept it even after Jumbo left as a sponsor.

Me, riding with Alpecin-Deceunik after descending from Mt. Lofty on the final stage back to town. A group of about 15 of us all rode back together.

You just can't get that from any other sport.

Pack light, take your bike. I could not have done this without following the advice of @maxdubler.com

Yes. It's awesome. For those who even have the slightest interest the great thing about it, aside from it being summer, is that it's a Tour entirely based in Adelaide. The riders and all the fans can camp in Adelaide for two weeks and watch the women and then men. Ride your bike to/from the race.

Gonna book tickets to England and be there in person.

Traveled to Australia for 2 weeks in January to watch bike racing. Checked luggage was my bike and enough clothes to get close to but not over the limit in my bike bag. Soft-sided carry-on and a backpack. 5 sets of cycling kit + clothes + (and this is important) Woolite to hand wash everything.

Who on earth buys Dolce and Gabanna shoes? A price change in a product almost no one buys won't show up in CPI. I don't know what this single, incredibly low volume item is supposed to prove.

Do you understand how elections in the US work? In almost every election there are only two candidates who even have the slightest chance of winning.

You either vote for one, vote for the other, or vote for neither. Whom did you vote for in 2024 for president?

In the screenshot you posted, I believe the person I was replying to claimed to have opposed Trump. In that case you were obligated to vote for Harris if really opposed Trump.

Which of the 3 people were you in the 2024 election? Voted Harris, voted Trump, or neither because you found them equal?

The BLA (not Federal Reserve) has pages and pages on hedonic measurements. I'm sure if you asked them you could get the specific measurements for electric razors and you could write a paper on why their measurements are wrong. But a single anecdote isn't helpful either way.

People still buy suits and, therefore, they have to be included in CPI. Reweights occur annually now instead of every two years.

There were two choices in the 2024 election you vote for Harris, vote for Trump, or vote for neither because you find both equally acceptable.

Which of these three were you?

The rule seems kinda dumb as is. Inviting local teams to a race like the Giro seems critically important to the continuation of women's cycling.
