“what if we get buck unrequited feelings” well first of all i think oliver would literally rather skin his own tattoos off his body than consider even touching a storyline like that

this episode really actually fully cemented my belief that buddie is happening, like before the ep there was still like 3% of me that didn’t think it could happen. but now that buck has actually had TWO (2) textual conversations about being in love with eddie there is no way they’re not doing this

like this is textbook “guy in live with his bff but is afraid to mess things up so he’s in denial” and that shit ALWAYS works out. and there’s no way they would do the whole queer guy having unrequited feelings for his bff, if anything oliver would throw a fucking fit and refuse to do it

and when it didn’t happen i lost a lot of faith in tv execs/writers/producers/etc. making smart and obvious choices rather than caving to homophobic GAs. but i can say with confidence that as much as i love destiel they have NEVER moved the way buddie has

ngl i was still clinging onto a little shred of doubt, i was around for the last season of spn and the destiel fuckery of it all and i was 100% sure cas was gonna come back and it would be canon and everyone would get their happy ending
