After thinking about this for a very long time, I realize I should charge my own self an extra $10 for every item I buy from H-E-B going forward. This way, not only am I still buying the things I’d buy from them anyway – I’m also just paying more for all of it, too.

That oughtta teach ‘em.

My trade deficit with H-E-B, the brick-and-mortar grocery store, is absolutely alarming. Looks like we just spent another $200 or so on groceries. Meanwhile, they’ve yet to buy a single thing from me.

I hate the post-2016 phase of keyboard warrioring that really made assholery the norm. Online decorum was always a bit murky in the Web 2.0 era, but it's progressively gotten worse.

Hopefully, this app is the hard reset most of us need to operate in uncomfortable spaces and conversations.

There are gonna be learning curves, but there's no reason we shouldn't be seeing sensible decisions made here around decency and civility more often than not. Long way to go, but this is positively in the right direction.

But seriously, I'm glad to be here. Twitter has turned into a hellscape. And not the thrilling kinds of hellscapes that you read about in post-apocalyptic literature.
