If I were better at keeping track of dates, I definitely would have posted the Awakening comic yesterday and saved reposting the colored Lucina art for today. Did not realize (or remember) her birthday was literally the day after Awakening's JP release date.

Context: The Miiverse post was drawn by me! Back when I worked in QA at Nintendo, there was a day where they asked for volunteer artists to draw Miiverse posts, which turned out to be used for a future trailer unveiling the Miiverse stage. Myself and a few others were selected. I ended up drawing at least three different posts for various characters, but this post is the only one that ended up in the trailer.

Oh definitely. "Pirates are just water bandits" were basically her words. That said, her grudge wasn't exactly softened by the fact that the first half of Lyn Mode is literally her getting chased by bandits. She'd have had a bone to pick regardless of her tribe's fate.

Lyn turned out pretty well considering it wasn't just her dad but also her mother along with the ENTIRETY OF HER TRIBE oh wow where did that come from.
