I've seen some silly stuff in Ace Attorney, but a witness destroying a piece of evidence right in front of the judge, while proudly claiming the court now has nothing against her, AND THE JUDGE TELLING HER LATER : "Oh sorry for wasting your time, you are free to leave" is baffling. :'D
