I can’t wait to get home to my Miis
All the games want to be movies and all the movies want to be in Fortnite

What is a game dev thread
100% of indie game devs are more profitable than OpenAI.
Made a replay function! Puzzle mode is pretty stable so far but still some edge case bugs where a block will do weird things sometimes. But now I can save replays on the fly via a dev menu. Really stoked about this! wasn't too long ago I didn't know any programming, but getting better!

subway ad that says "your idea could be live by the time you reach your stop"
as a culture we have really given "ideas" way too much credit. ideas are a dime a dozen. they happen all the time. the magic is way more in the doing, and the doing's diminished stature is linked to lack of respect for labor and, more recently, skill and expertise.

A heartfelt thank you to AAA Companies for creating a point of difference that indies can claim at no extra cost.
Simply by continuing to make games with intent and reliable tools, we can show our audience respect, and be respected as professionals in return.
Yeah I been playing some Marathon
Fuck this DLSS 5 shit and this race for the "Most Graphics" Gaming peaked here IMO! Give me more games that look like this!
Hear me out If the oscars cut all the pre-awards bits we can have a 90 minute in memoriam
The idea of turning this into an adventure game has been the one that’s been using up all my spare brain cycles over the last month, thinking over possible puzzles.
I’ve come to this conclusion: adventure games are the most resource-intensive type of game there is. How did they ever become a thing?

It increasingly seems like one of the biggest problems in game design is a lack of developer confidence. It's like everyone's waiting to get rich & famous to start making cool, which doesn't pan out cuz even the big boi devs are just chasing the bigger fish and talk like they're prisoners still
Game development is a process where you move a slider to full, then grudgingly move it down by 5% every week until others can stand the output.
