This. Every time you see a "successful" trans person, know we are just one transphobe away from losing everything. This is one reason why it is important for allies to actually ally when we're not around -- transphobes should know their views aren't acceptable to anyone.

Like, AI literacy in any form will not protect black and disabled folks from the algorithmic bias, and the violence that emerges from it, of spicy autocomplete. Full stop. No amount of AI literacy can protect us in the deployment of the system because it is tracking the wrong problem.
I'm laughing at all the (much-deserved) dunks about naming a company Sauron but this is a business model that poses a lot of dangers to the communities where it is installed because the whole point is surveilling people before they're on the property of paranoid rich people.
