PEN America was quick to condemn Trump’s threat to destroy Iranian civilization. PEN’s co-CEO @selopez.bsky.social says, “We are defending freedom of expression, defending writers, literature, and the freedom of people to tell their stories and document their histories.” Everyone deserves that.
I wanna point out something serious. The admin has been complaining about Iran winning the information war.
This same administration shut down Voice of America, and other information operations the US govt does.
