Lorehold. For red/white players who mean it when they say ACAB

I still don't fully understand why that IDF soldier pulling a statue of Christ off that crucifix and smashing its head in with a hammer is doing more diplomatic harm than the attacks on the Holy Family Church in Gaza did
I've got like 4 new decks this year, but have ideas for at least 4 more, so I'm 50/50 at best. My old ones were kind of lagging behind though, so I've been trying to make an effort to give them some love too. I still feel that first bit though, it's been hard to get some of my ideas off the ground.
Treasure creation was kind of a sub theme of the Prismari in og Strixhaven, I think they represented physical art being made? Really just there to help get their big flashy spells actually cast though lol. But otherwise, full agree, treasures feel more at home in Lorehold.
How in need of a new show to watch are you? Lol
As I was quickly scrolling past this, I thought you were Little Alex Horne for a second and got really confused.
Hell yes, nice call. My girl Liesa might be good for your K&K deck too.
I'm back on Quintorius, Loremaster at the moment and remembered that Enduring Renewal is a card that exists
(I just wish there was a version without McNeill's art)
Ngl, even the new one the new off a little at first. At least it discards? Kind of thought it would do retrace or something over miracle.
Jokers are wild... π
Game Changer Season 8 premieres May 18th only on Dropout.
Great minds lol. I actually forgot k&k existed while I was looking at options with black in them the other night.
Also, ghost army you say?
I always come back to wanting to do a really bad doomsday imitation with Osgir lol
I like them both for mythology flavor purposes. I've been wanting to build an archaeology theme deck for forever. The black in K&K at least lets you get some other thematic graveyard stuff.
I always stall out on Osgir, probably because I have an aversion to permanently exiling things.
Also been thinking about Quint, Loremaster, but it feels kind of slow. Maybe that's ok with the ark?
Ultimately been leaning towards Excava, but only because I think this is very funny and flavorful:
Lol yea, I get that for sure.
That sounds sick as hell. I'm looking forward to deciding on a home for it all in commander.
Incredibly likely. It's one thing to mess up a WotC product. It's another to put a bit of Disney IP, no matter how small, on someone else's stuff.
The not quite impulse draw is definitely where I think most of the cost comes from. Especially in older formats where it can be untapped. The damage is almost a bonus imo.
I get that, but I also understand why they limit it. There's so many things that exile entire graveyards or shuffle it all in, that's just too many 2 card combos.
The cost is weirdly too much and not enough at the same time? If you look at the tap ability as like an impulse draw every turn, it looks like that usually costs about 3-4 mana. And then we're stapling on the damage for almost free... And yet it still feels like it's a little weak at 4.
Yea, I don't actually think there's enough room in the market right now. WotC would have to offer a crazy deal to the Mouse and even then it's probably not worth the market cannibalization. Either something else would have to fail first or Magic needs to get a whole lot bigger for it to be worth it.
Hey everybody! I am taking the helm of this classic American institution with @theonion.com and want to know what you fine folks would like to see from us.
π€¦ββοΈFONTS. It was right there in front of me. Well done π
With the help of the Sandy Hook families, The Onion has reached a long-awaited deal to take over InfoWars.
We've enlisted the help of @timheidecker.bsky.social, who will be InfoWars' Creative Director.
Please stand by for more.
Paleontology is definitely Witherbloom, but for the bigger and deeper digs I'd assume that there's probably some Lorehold crossover for excavation purposes. Just like how Poli Sci is Lorehold but treaty negotiations and debates are Silverquill.
I definitely would be in Lorehold, but would have been tempted by Quandrix and Prismari.
... Is it weird that I wouldn't be mad about that? I kinda like it better than the current combo π€£
Yea, IDK. I've mostly just seen people saying what they'd like out if it, but maybe they're taking it way more seriously than they should. Obvious QC fuck up is obvious. It's not like WotC would change their stamp for a single property.
