I’m trying to circumvent a lot of issues entirely if I can by reworking mechanics if/where possible - my group and I have already noticed some of the rules are a bit unwieldy, were there any mechanics that would come up at character creation or every session that needed changing in your experience?

Probably a long shot, but if anyone has any experience playing Vampire the Masquerade or Vampire the Requiem, I would be very interested to know; how you found it, what friction points there were, and any adjustments you/your Storyteller made to the rules that improved your experience
