Same :) Different faith tradition, and yet feeling a great deal of holy envy for the Catholics these days

Bumping this for tomorrow night's event, spaces are limited so RSVP if you can.
Likely not the meaning of the passage, but I couldn’t help but think of 2 Thessalonians 2:2-4

Gosh, Matt, you really know how to make someone’s day 😊 Thank you, my friend
For all the ugliness out there, this is still an amazingly beautiful world
A-freaking-men. Comforting to see others giving the Luddites their due
Lovely. Thanks for sharing
Wow.
Stay tuned for Vance’s upcoming “We Real Cool: White Men and Masculinity”
Looking forward to Vance’s upcoming “We Real Cool: White Men and Masculinity”

What these losers mean by “non-Mormon run” is anything not right-wing/white. Mormons are often oblivious to the pernicious attitudes cloaked in the local lexicon, while the non-Mormons too often take such sentiments as those of the entire group, breeding unfair resentment for the entire mass.
As one who is LDS, may I just say that anyone who thinks this way about their fellow Salt Lakers can go touch grass (and other things besides.)
Bone-weary of the creeps who foment this kind of hateful garbage either in the name of, or against, Mormons.

Looking very lovely today, SLC
(Despite the sniffles, I LOVE the spring)
Final reminder that we’re accepting reader submissions to the aforementioned questions until noon tomorrow. We’d love to have your voices featured within this year’s City Guide. Feel free to email your responses to wlong@cityweekly.net
I am reaching out because I'm in charge of City Weekly's City Guide booklet this year. While most of the pieces are in place, I wanted to include small blurbs from locals about their experience and love for Salt Lake City. If you have an interest to do so, we'd welcome your feedback on the following questions: - What does Salt Lake City mean to me? - Any concise words of wisdom for a newcomer to the Salt Lake area? - What dish or food item would you recommend to someone fresh to the area? - What is your favorite local event of the year? I need all responses by next Wednesday (March 25) morning, if possible. Feel free to send them directly to me at wlong@cityweekly.net. (Word length cannot exceed 100 characters, please.) We'd be honored to include your voice in this year's edition!
A message for all my Salt Lake City/Valley peeps

Haha that’s cool :)
I’ve been meaning to see Hamnet and Train Dreams. I haven’t yet found something that made a really deep impression yet. Probably the ones I most enjoyed this year, without being masterpieces, were probably Frankenstein, Weapons and Rental Family
Any particular highlights for you? I’m still looking for something from the last year that really impressed me, as I didn’t care for Sinners, Marty Supreme and One Battle After Another
Reaallly hope there will be some boundaries set in such meetings, as the prospect for asinine and partisan garbage is extremely high.
