The bulwark’s podcast host does not have that feature, just broad categories. And anything that the Noem ad reasonably would fall under is excluded (politics, govt, etc).

You can exclude certain topics, depending on the platform. This depends on the advertiser correctly categorizing their ads, which they have not done in this case.
You cannot exclude specific advertisers.
If you watch the video, he goes into more detail but the short answer is no, it's not possible to pull the ads. Programmatic ads aren't chosen individually by podcasts/video creators, you just get whatever the platform decides to run (generally).
