Recently learned almost 1 in 4 Canadian women over 40 don’t have kids. As one of them, I’d like to thank all the #feminists who came before me for giving me this #choice. (My entire reproductive system also thanks you.)

Wishing everyone in much of #NorthAmerica a happy #snowday! Stay safe, stay warm, throw a snowball for a puppy
Instead of threatening the existence of #Canadapost, why don’t we start asking how we can use a national workforce that is already embedded in every community, is resourced, has transportation equipment in place and is quick and easy to deploy? Baby, bath water and all that…
Here’s a trick to tell if someone’s lying about pharma info for pregnant people… you don’t need a trick the answer is they’re lying (or to be generous, misinformed). Why? Because we generally don’t allow pregnant people to participate in pharma studies, so no one really knows crap about it.
Amazing art
Hey #Hoekstra, you can drop all the mildly ominous sounding comments you want, but you’re wasting your breath. Canada is not ABC, we won’t crumble at the first hint of your administration’s displeasure. Don’t threaten us with a good time Petey!
This is exactly where design should go… form, function AND universal accessibility! ❤️
Absolutely! Don’t get me wrong, it can always be better and we def need to create more green spaces east and west, and develop green corridors in between. But declaring SJ the worst in the country based on two random data points with apparently zero context is irresponsible journalism imo.
Oops, i missed rainbow park too. Ironically this article focuses on the neighbourhood that has the best access to a broad suite of parks in the city! It just screams wrong to me.
From what i can tell the reporter’s assessment is based on one long form census question and one city data point, which does not a fulsome study make! There’s a reason why research and journalism are considered two different disciplines and i feel very strongly this article demonstrates exactly why!
Did you read the written article?
I’ve been stewing about that “article” since it went online! Not solid journalism imo. At the very least an insult to civil planners and researchers.
… And a million other critical questions neither she nor her editor bothered to ask before publishing. Supposedly the south end peninsula has no parks? Tin can beach, Queen square, king square, loyalist burial ground, fort Latour, and chown field don’t count??
Ummm… that piece is based on one reporter looking at one question from the long form census. How many respondents? How did they interpret “park or green space”? What form of transportation did they consider when answering? …

Because we only think about it when we pay the bill, when we should be thinking about it every time we take out the garbage, turn on the faucet, travel safe roads, go to the hospital, etc, etc. 😁

The movie #meatballs was on TV, then I remembered the first #leadersdebate is also on and switched over... Hard to tell the difference between the two really.

Hey party leaders, could you please get rid of the bobblehead supporters behind you when you make announcements? It's sooooo distracting! We get it, you have supporters, you're popular, people like you, etc, etc. Clear the stage, stand on your own and say what you have to say. #canpoli #election2025

Yes! This is a pain that is most promising.
Yes! Now do Canada! And if anyone thinks this is a way to enable unsafe sex you can put your mind at ease. Noone wants to intentionally, repeatedly napalm their womb and suffer the consequences for months. Absolutely no cock is worth that.
