This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they can't be manipulated for political purposes. Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative. The Economy is BOOMING under "TRUMP" despite a Fed that also plays games, this time with Interest Rates, where they lowered them twice, and substantially, just before the Presidential Election, I assume in the hopes of getting "Kamala" elected - How did that work out? Jerome "Too Late" Powell should also be put "out to pasture." Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Just to be clear, this is a violation of the fundamental ethical principle in clinical trial design called "equipoise."

Equipoise means that no-one is exposed to excess risk just to test the therapy. That's specifically *why* vaccine trials don't use placebo arms.

It's historically difficult to so clearly and immediately identify economic downturns with their causes in policy. This time is the exception. Tariffs, among many other destabilizing Trump policies, are clearly causing this reversal in American prosperity.

Kudos to Jenner & Block for standing up for the rule of law. The power of the presidency should not be used to extort compliance with a particular political agenda. Democracies are great engines of innovation and economic opportunity because they protect free speech and expression.

Jen puts in historical context the tech industry's narratives of pioneers and the Gold Rush to distract society. Removing the importance of workers from how we think about past economic growth encourages us to ignore their importance now.
