And civilised and communal toileting to my mind never sat too well together. You. must have a choice until things change

I don’t think any more communal changing rooms should be created at all. I was assaulted as a child in a public loo. It wasn’t by a trans person and I am not homophobic. Single stalls for All is my take. Society adapts. The UK is better than Trump.

I think there should be clear rulings so everyone is safe. The notion that women in public toilets aren’t safe From trans men or women is demonstrably not so. And I don’t think it is utopian. Single use facilities are available pretty much everywhere. There is always choice.

I am saying if she was embarrassed she would have used the large single use toilet, yards away or the separate cubicle within the space. The Doctor was allowed in there. That is what she objected to. And that is what this case was about. As I say there is no solution but single sex single use.

This situation is still playing out in the courts including the Supreme Court. As I say I ONLY advocate for single sex single use facilities.

You are saying she was uncomfortable and embarrassed. Except she took no steps as such. So no evidence of such. Just that she, and you and millions of other women felt that the Doctor shouldn’t be there on principle. So she made a political stance. The doctor wasn’t in breach of the rules.

As you know there was no ruling against the Doctor. I personally only advocate for entirely separate cubicles and loos. One sex or gender. One occupant. Seems the way forward.

Of course I don’t think that, and is clear it was not what I said. As far as I know there has only been one attack in a communal space from a trans woman in the uk. And that was an attempt from a disturbed trans teenager on a young child that was stopped . I was pointing out this was engineered

These issues exposed shady practice however you look at it. Her complaints were certainly not motivated through fear of any attack. They were entirely political in nature and that was recognised judicially.

You said she had never been the subject of a complaint… nothing to do with it being upheld or not. She certainly was subject to disciplinary procedure was she not. It certainly wasn’t a complete victory for her.
