Hey everyone, I know I don't post here much anymore, but I wanted to highlight that my sister needs surgery. We're trying our best to get her GoFundMe moving and would appreciate any help we can get. I hate that we do this so much in America, but that's where we're at.

Look man I don’t think the people being poisoned by data centers really care if you remove the generated assets before shipping, and I don’t really care if you “only” use the machine that stole my shit and convinced teens to off themselves for internal PowerPoints.
Cool motive. Still bullshit tho.
I do think if we're going to (rightfully) attack Larian so viciously for AI usage, we should probably look at E33 for managing to effectively rewrite the narrative that they were victims of AI rather than active users of it english.elpais.com/culture/2025...

now that’s the games industry we know

No, see, you misunderstood. It’s actually “no woke, go broke”
Just saw Mononoke in theaters and yeah you truly cannot beat the real thing
Hate hate hate the reduction of Ghibli's output into a vague aesthetic. Even before generative AI, people would talk about "cozy Ghibli vibes" stripped of all context, and now we're seeing where that gets us.
Exactly. This matters a lot when doing slow burn horror but players don’t want to stay long in a boring gray box before the game picks up
I’m finding now that doing a narrative horror game doesn’t mix well with my past “get it running and send to testers asap” mentality.
Sure, I can give players a gray box level with some temp dialogue but they won’t get a lot from that experience. It maybe validates a few systems early at most
Not my art btw! The game’s art is made by the incredibly skilled @jomeimei.bsky.social
Still early but we’re working on a horror game that forces you to work late nights at a haunted corporate office while supernatural forces slowly take over your workspace. You also get a coding ducky.
It's been a while since I've done this, and the world is bleak - so we can all use a little art & creativity.
What is everyone creating nowadays? Games, art, music, video, writing, anything - whether it is early, almost done, or just shipped. Feel free to include trailers, images, links - whatever.
I’ve been shilling Pantheon to people lately. It’s only 2 seasons total so it makes for a quick binge
Another GDC down! This was my third one and it was the best of the bunch. Talked to so many skilled and thoughtful people and felt so connected to the game dev community. It truly is something special every single time.
Just took a photo with the GDC DinoMae. Best part of my day so far
I’ve been asking this to everyone, no solid answers 😞
lol I’m just pressed about animal well being snubbed at GDCA. I had to let out some hater steam
If it isn’t clear: I really am just being a hater. There’s no theory behind it

Got my badge! Lets start this GDC right!
Ok went with a more professional approach
I’m in an airport right now but I’m cackling internally at this
GDC flight delayed by 3 hours 😭
I agree with this almost purely for the symmetry of him playing a guy who can’t feel any pain and then going on to play a guy literally named Max Payne. At the very least it would make for a fun bit
business card for hidden cat games. The card names Michael Monty as the founder and it features a logo where little cats are hidden inside the text. the tagline reads "there are cat-hedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see"
genuine question: should I put this on my business card or is it too online
"Even though there's many difficulties in the games industry, there's a chance that you can do something that is actually meaningful for others."
There's just a little over 4 hrs left in the #DreamsOnAPillow campaign! 🍉
